Background:

Houston-area metal fabricator Woven Metal Products (WMP) is a nearly 60-year-old family-owned company that has always given back to the community. However, the company didn’t have a clear strategy for deciding which causes or organizations to support.

How We Helped:

The Why Resonate team worked with WMP to develop a CSR platform that made sense for their business and industry. The result was Woven Together, a community engagement platform focused on supporting and growing the future skilled workforce for the manufacturing and fabrication industries. Through Woven Together, WMP now offers an annual scholarship, student fabrication shop visits, curriculum and educational support and more. This strategic work was awarded a 2025 MarCom Awards Gold Winner for Strategic Communications / Corporate Social Responsibility from the Association of Marketing and Communications Professionals.
